RACING MOS

RACING MOS

For Jake, this row is deeply personal. As he lost his father to cancer when he was 12 years old.

It’s a pain that never truly leaves, but what helped carry him and his family through the darkest of times was the unwavering support of St Luke’s Hospice in the UK.

They were there not just for him, but for our whole family – providing comfort, compassion, and dignity when we needed it most.

On December 12th 2026, we will be setting off in a 7x2 metre row boat, to row 4828km across the Atlantic from La Gomera in the Canaries to English Harbour in Antigua.

The distance we will be covering is equivalent to the diameter of Australia (plus an extra 800km). We will be taking all of our food and supplies, using the onboard water maker and (hopefully) pack enough toilet paper to last us at least 29 days.

From December 12 we won’t be touching land until we make it to English Harbour. ‘Why on earth would you do that’ I hear you cry. Well, we will be raising much needed awareness and funds for Movember, a charity whose mission is simple but critical - stop men dying too young.

know us, the race and our why

Our team the Racing Mos, is racing in the
The World’s Toughest row 2026. It’s 30+ days of constant rowing, minimal sleep, rationed food and we are gunning for it!

We are rowing for our chance to enact some change. So we are partnering with Movember and St Luke’s Hospice.

Our aim throughout the row is to raise awareness and some well needed funds for Men’s Health and our Fathers, Brothers, Sons and best friends.

We need your help in our campaign to help Men around the world.

Some of our motivation to create a healthy community for all men.
